Frequently asked questions

What file formats can I upload?
Audio (MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG), video (MP4, MOV, WebM), and text-based sources including plain text transcripts, CSV exports, JSON, and direct paste. For audio and video, files up to 2 hours in length are supported with automatic transcription.
How does the transcription work?
Audio and video files are transcribed using a speech-to-text model with automatic speaker diarization - it identifies different speakers and labels them in the transcript. Accuracy is high for English and improving for other languages. You can review and edit the transcript before signal extraction runs.
What happens to personally identifiable information?
LinkLoom runs automatic PII/PHI redaction before any analysis or AI processing. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, and other identifiers are stripped from the text. Redacted transcripts are stored in private, per-account storage and are never shared across accounts or used to train models.
How are signals extracted?
After transcription and PII redaction, LinkLoom runs structured extraction to identify four signal types: questions customers ask, pain points they describe, objections they raise, and desired outcomes they express. Each signal is tagged with the verbatim quote and the source it came from.
What is semantic theme clustering?
Extracted signals are embedded as vectors and clustered using similarity. Clusters are automatically named based on the dominant topic. Each theme shows a signal count, a trend indicator (rising, steady, or fading based on recency), and the most representative quote. This groups scattered mentions of the same issue into one trackable theme.
How is opportunity scoring calculated?
Each content opportunity is scored by combining internal frequency (how often real customers raised the theme) with external demand (search volume and AI prompt volume from Prompt Intelligence). High-frequency internal themes that also have high external demand score highest - they represent validated content ideas that have both customer evidence and market reach.
How does the content brief work?
When you create content from an opportunity, LinkLoom generates a brief that includes the customer language (real quotes and pain points), the specific gap the article should address, the target prompts it should answer (from Prompt Intelligence, if connected), and a suggested structure. The brief loads directly into the editor so you start writing with full context.
Is the data stored securely?
Yes. Uploaded files and transcripts are stored in private, per-account storage with encryption at rest. PII is redacted before AI processing.
