Frequently asked questions
What's in a template?
+
A LinkLoom template combines a structured prompt, output schema (sections, headings, length targets), tone instructions, source preferences, SEO/AEO targets, and optional post-processing steps like schema generation or image creation. They're version-controlled and shareable.
How do batch jobs work?
+
Paste a list of URLs or upload a CSV. Each row runs through the chosen template in parallel, results land in a single workspace, and you get a notification when the batch completes. Failed rows can be retried individually.
Can I trigger workflows from outside LinkLoom?
+
Yes. Workflows expose webhook triggers and a REST API, plus native integrations with Zapier, Make, and n8n — so a new RSS item, Airtable row, or Slack message can kick off content generation automatically.
Do automated runs respect my brand voice?
+
Yes. Every automated run inherits the brand voice profile of the target site, so output is on-brand without manual review every time.
Is there a limit on automation runs?
+
Free plans include limited monthly runs. Paid plans scale up linearly, and Business+ includes unlimited automation runs across unlimited workflows.
Can I share templates with my team or clients?
+
Yes. Templates can be private, team-shared, or workspace-shared. Agencies typically maintain a master template library that's applied across every client account.
Can I create templates from my best-performing articles?
+
Yes. Select any published article and click "Save as Template." LinkLoom reverse-engineers the structure — heading hierarchy, section lengths, tone profile, CTA placement — and creates a reusable template. Every future article built from that template follows the same winning formula.
How do scheduled automations handle failures?
+
If a scheduled run fails (e.g., a source URL is unreachable or the RSS feed returns an error), LinkLoom retries automatically up to 3 times with exponential backoff. If all retries fail, the run is marked as failed in your dashboard with a detailed error log, and you receive an email and in-app notification. Partial batches still complete — one failed item never blocks the rest.
