Publishing is the final step in making your content visible to the world. LinkLoom provides flexible publishing options to fit different workflows and distribution strategies.

Publishing Status Overview

Content States

Your content can be in one of several states:

Status Description
Draft Work in progress, not visible
Review Ready for review (if applicable)
Scheduled Set to publish at future date
Published Live and visible

Publishing Methods

Immediate Publishing

To publish content right away:

  1. Open your article in the editor
  2. Ensure content is complete and optimized
  3. Click Publish in the top-right corner
  4. Confirm the action
  5. Content is immediately live

Scheduled Publishing

To publish at a specific time:

  1. Open your article in the editor
  2. Click the arrow next to Publish (or find Schedule option)
  3. Select Schedule
  4. Choose date and time
  5. Click Schedule to confirm
  6. Content will publish automatically at that time

Saving as Draft

To save without publishing:

  1. Click Save or Save Draft
  2. Content is preserved but not visible
  3. Return anytime to continue editing

Pre-Publishing Checklist

Content Quality

Before publishing, verify:

  • Title is compelling and SEO-optimized
  • Meta description is complete
  • Content is proofread for errors

When to Unpublish

Reasons to unpublish:

How to Unpublish

  1. Open the published article
  2. Click the status dropdown or Unpublish button
  3. Select Revert to Draft or Unpublish
  4. Confirm the action
  5. Content is no longer publicly visible

You can edit after publishing:
